The Building Campaign

HaRav Hagaon R' Shlomo Zalman Perlstein Shlit"a, is the Rov of the shul, Rosh Kollel of Kollel Zichron Yaakov Betzalel and also the Rav of Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph.

The Rav is renowned for great yiras shamayim and dikduk bhalacha, which combined with his unequalled achrayus and nesiah beo'l, makes for a beautiful kehilla which thrives and flourishes al pi derech haTorah.

He opened Kollel Zichron Yaakov Betzalel approximately 3 years ago in order to be marbitz Torah and give over from the great wellsprings of chochma he gained from his Rebbeim. The hope and goal of the Kollel is to be a Makom Torah which will bring forth true talmidei chachomim in the spirit and the derech of the gedolim of yesteryear.

In addition to the Rov’s Kollel there are two other Kollelim that learn in the Bais Medresh (1) Rabbi Yaakov Montrose , Rosh Kollel of Kollel Bais Hillel and (2) Rabbi Chaim Zweiter, Rosh Kollel of Kollel Darchei Noam.

The Shul is a full-functioning shul with multiple minyanim for each of the 3 daily and Shabbos tefilos. We are home to Avos U’Banim for the children on Shabbos.

Although the Shul is in existence for 15 years, the building was never completed and B”H, we need to make many changes to accommodate our growth. In September 2022 the shul has undertaken a campaign to raise 3,000,000 NIS to raise the funds and complete the building.
